"So, when you receive a letter from your ex's family law attorney, does it make you want to vomit? Probably it does, and here's why.

A lot of family law attorneys will write a letter so that they can propagate a false narrative. They'll try to spin facts and law so that they can use this letter later in court if they can get it admitted as an exhibit.

A lot of lawyers use these letters to to generate fees. They write lengthy letters, pages and pages, with what could be done in a very short email or I don't know, maybe a phone call.

The other reason why you probably don't feel good when you get it is they're often very acerbic, very difficult and harsh in tone. And that's because a lot of family law attorneys are keyboard bullies. They're really good at writing or maybe now using AI to help them write a letter that sounds really strong and really intimidating.

And when you get to court, you see them shaking in their loafers. Those are the ones that typically walk out of court with a briefcase between their legs."
