"What are the top three things that people do wrong when they decide they want a divorce?

Well, number one is that they make that decision and they don't act on it. They continue to remain in the relationship. They're unhappy, and they just wait until somebody does something or something happens.

Number two is they hire the wrong lawyer. They look at price, they go for the cheap lawyer, they go for the lawyer that tells them what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.

Number three is that once they hire the lawyer, sometimes they don't communicate enough, sometimes they don't want to deal with it, which is understandable. But, we can't get the job done for you if you can't help us.

You're the one that has the information. You're the client. We have to communicate. Those are the top three."
