The number one injury around the holidays are car accidents, drunk driving, or fights — bar fights. You get drunk and you get into a fight at the bar. It's called assault and battery. If you beat someone up, then you'll be personally liable if they sue you. Yes. And if you get pulled over for drunk driving, you must comply with the DUI check — because if you don't, they'll automatically suspend your driver's license. Oh yeah. In January, we certainly see people living out their New Year's resolution to be free. During the holiday season, especially for the sake of their children, they try to make peace and stay together, and keep their mouth shut, take their notes, and document whatever problems, and dwell on their dislike of the other person. And then come January — hello, divorce papers. Unless you get a good Christmas present, which most of the time won't take care of it. Stay safe around the holidays. Uber whenever you can. Happy New Year's.
