Antonyan Miranda Featured on Fox 5’s The Localist SD
Tim Miranda, CFLS.
Hey, welcome back. And Ilona and Tim, welcome to the Localist SD.
Thank you.
We’re going to talk about some areas of law today, but let’s start with divorce, since you’re here from Antonyan Miranda. Your billboards are kind of famous around town. What’s the theory behind these punchy billboards?
I have to give credit to my business partner—he’s the mastermind behind all the billboards. People often call asking who our marketing company is, and I’m proud to say it’s him.
We’re in a very serious business. Divorce is emotional—people are often going through the worst time of their life. We like to add some levity, make things a little easier and lighter. If we can get recognition, rise above the noise, and make people comment, that’s what we’re going for—standing out from the crowd.
That’s so thoughtful. Divorce is stressful, but being strategic helps. What’s your philosophy when it comes to serving clients?
Be methodical. Be strategic. Negotiate from a position of strength. And always be prepared.
Tell me about your team, since you’re representing the entire firm today.
We’re about 40 attorneys deep. Our team speaks multiple languages—I speak Spanish and Russian, Tim speaks Spanish, and others cover more. We have appellate specialists and even a forensic accountant on staff to handle complex financial issues. We couldn’t do what we do—the billboards, the visibility—without our team. They’re excellent.
You both have impressive backgrounds, and you’ve recently expanded beyond family law. What other areas of law are you covering now?
We now handle personal injury—major and minor car accidents—as well as workplace rights, workplace harassment, and sexual harassment. We’ve brought in new attorneys to build those departments.
Your career must be both stressful and rewarding. How does it feel when you get a client what they deserve?
It’s a great feeling. In family court, it sometimes feels like only the attorneys truly “win,” since dividing assets and children is so personal. But when we do a great job and our client is happy, that’s the true reward.
If someone wants a consultation, what’s the next step?
We now have offices in San Diego, Orange County, and Temecula. You can visit our website at antonyanmiranda.comor call us at 619-696-1000.
Tim and Ilona, thank you both for your time and advice. Hang out with me as we wrap up the show.
Thank you.
