Naghmeh Bashar is a Partner at Antonyan Miranda, a Certified Family Law Specialist, and a Certified Mediator. In her greater than thirty years of practicing law, Ms. Bashar, who is bilingual English-Farsi, has garnered substantial family law experience in complex, large estate matters. As a Certified Mediator, Ms. Bashar has successfully mediated dissolution cases with a range of complex and unique issues. Ms. Bashar has extensive knowledge and experience in all discovery related matters and will serve as a Discovery Special Master on complex discovery issues.

In addition to family law, Ms. Bashar is an experienced civil litigator and transactional attorney, having represented various corporate entities in contractual and financial matters, both here and abroad. Ms. Bashar’s unique financial perspective and practical experience have allowed her to excel at complex, legal problem solving, mediated settlements, and dispute resolution. Ms. Bashar has also utilized these talents to develop and administer successful law firm collections and judgment enforcement departments, such as those employed by Antonyan Miranda. Ms. Bashar has previously been selected as a Top Attorney in San Diego by the San Diego Daily Transcript, and in 2024 and 2025 was selected as a Super Lawyer.

Ms. Bashar is a Voting Board Member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS) and was the Executive Editor of its quarterly published newsletter, The Specialist, from December of 2018 to through December of 2022. Ms. Bashar was asked to rejoin the ACFLS Board of Directors and since January of 2025 has been serving as its Associate Journal Editor. Ms. Bashar was a voting member, advisor, and Executive Editor of the Family Law Newsletter for Family Law Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the California Lawyers Association (FLEXCOM) (2011 to 2016). From 2009 to 2011, and again from 2019 to 2023, Ms. Bashar served as the Chair of the San Diego County Regional Standing Committee, providing legislation review and analysis, including review of the Elkins Task Force Committee’s 2009 recommendations for Family Law. Ms. Bashar provides pro bono services to the San Diego County Superior Court as a volunteer Mandatory Settlement Conference (MSC) mediator.
