Jessica Mertes is an Associate Attorney at Antonyan Miranda, where she represents clients in family law litigation matters, including marital dissolutions involving large estates and business interests.

Before joining Antonyan Miranda, Ms. Mertes gained experience in family law, business litigation, privacy compliance, intellectual property, and regulatory law, including CCPA and CPRA compliance and domestic and international intellectual property protection.

Ms. Mertes's path to law began in clinical research and healthcare. At Texas Christian University, she led an Institutional Review Board-approved human clinical trial, and she later handled protected health information in clinical settings.

Ms. Mertes earned her Juris Doctor, with Honors, from California Western School of Law through its Two-Year Accelerated Program, with an Area of Concentration in Intellectual Property, Privacy, and Media Law. She holds a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Texas Christian University, where she was an Honors Laureate and a Science and Engineering Research Center Grant Recipient.
