“Is it true that men generally get screwed when the court makes a custody order? I wish I could answer that and say yes because it would be inflammatory, but my answer is quite simply I think both parents, any gender, get screwed in a custody order.

Why do I say that? Because the nature of a custody order is that a stranger, the court, tells you, the parent, what you’re going to do with your child and how you’re going to parent your child.

My best advice is to avoid that type of circumstance, you should reach an agreement with the other parent so that you can jointly decide how you want to see your child and what to do with your child, as opposed to having a stranger in a black robe make that decision for you.”
