Catherine Tancredi is a Senior Attorney at Antonyan Miranda, focusing on discovery and litigation support.

Prior to joining Antonyan Miranda, Ms. Tancredi operated her own family law practice in El Cajon for over two decades, focusing exclusively on family law matters including dissolution, child custody, guardianships, step-parent adoptions, domestic violence restraining orders, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs), and representing fathers facing false allegations of molestation. From 1998 to 2013, Ms. Tancredi held the distinction of Certified Family Law Specialist, conferred by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Tancredi has served as a volunteer Settlement Conference Judge and Small Claims Judge for the El Cajon Superior Court. She has been recognized with multiple awards for her service to the San Diego Superior Court and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. She also served as editor of the Foothills Bar Association Newsletter for fifteen years.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Tancredi worked in civil litigation and mobile home residency law, initially as a legal secretary, then paralegal, and later attorney, gaining substantial courtroom experience immediately after passing the California Bar Examination on her first attempt. Ms. Tancredi is also the co-founder of the East County Land Use Watchdogs, where she advocates for environmental issues impacting East County communities, with a particular focus in Lakeside, particularly the El Monte Valley.

Ms. Tancredi earned her Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law while working full-time in the legal field. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University, graduating with honors, and an Associate of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Grossmont College.
