7.1.2019
San Diego-based family law firm Antonyan Miranda has hired experienced human resources professional Victoria Grammar as the firm’s Director of Human Resources.
Victoria has over twelve years of experience in Human Resources. She most recently spent a short time at a local carbon composite manufacturing organization where she helped move the companies HR responsibilities from an administrative nature to an official HR Department. Her experience in HR prior to that was in Tucson, Arizona where for 10 years she worked with a technology company, Simpleview, doing the same but at a larger scale.
During her time at Simpleview, she was responsible for all aspects of human resources; creating policies and procedures, the annual review process and ongoing performance evaluation and improvement protocols, enhancing benefits, implementing a 401K, and third party applications to help streamline processes and create efficiencies. Her experience also includes employee acquisitions, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, retention and recruitment, training and development, and recognition incentives as well as overall morale, environment and culture. Grammar will use these same experiences and responsibilities at Antonyan Miranda to help grow and strengthen the firm.
“We are proud to welcome Victoria to the firm, and as the firm continues to grow, Victoria’s expertise and team-building attitude will be invaluable,” said Ilona Antonyan, one of Antonyan Miranda’s Founding Partners. “Victoria will no doubt be a valuable asset to Antonyan Miranda.”
Antonyan Miranda was formed in 2015 when attorneys Ilona Antonyan and Timothy Miranda merged their individual practices, and the firm has since grown to over 50 employees, including over 30 attorneys. The firm’s attorneys practice in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence proceedings.
“When I walked in the door to interview, I knew that this was where I wanted to call my work home, Home. The innovation at Antonyan Miranda is pronounced by its appearance alone. Once you meet the staff and attorneys you realize that you are surrounded by excellence; professionals who are passionate about the work that they do and with the people they help. I wanted to be part of the journey and the growth. I am honored to be a part of the AM Family.”
During her free-time Victoria trains to race in triathlons and completed her first full Ironman distance in 2018. Her affiliations and volunteer activities include membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the San Diego Chapter of SHRM. She has two sons and a daughter, grew up in the military and lived in many locations around the world and serves as a board member on a local triathlon team out of Encinitas, CA.
